As Grassroots Program Manager, Abbey Schroeder oversees ATA’s premier advocacy program, Call on Washington. Last Congress, she facilitated 700 meetings between ATA members and their representatives on Capitol Hill and organized Women In Motion's inaugural Call on Washington. She is responsible for developing ATA’s grassroots strategy and identifies opportunities for additional Congressional engagement with ATA members in their home districts. She joined ATA’s Hill Office in April 2023 with a well-rounded advocacy skillset. An Arizona native, Abbey began her career by interning on Senator John McCain’s final election campaign. She continued working in political roles throughout her undergraduate experience at Arizona State University, eventually becoming the Young Women’s Outreach Coordinator for Senator Martha McSally while still a student. After graduating in 2020, Abbey continued to serve Arizona’s congressional delegation in both Washington, D.C., and congressional offices located in Arizona. More recently, Abbey worked in the private sector as a Legislative Analyst for Williams & Jensen, PLLC, and as a member of the fundraising team at the National Republican Congressional Committee for the 2022 midterm election cycle.
